Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data TTS Studio (“the app”), made by diengv studio (“we”), uses and where it goes. It covers the desktop app and this website.
1. Data the app stores on your computer
- Your projects: stories, lessons, characters, voices, audio, images and exported videos.
- Your settings, including the keys of the services you connect (see section 4).
- The sign-in tokens of the TikTok and YouTube accounts you connect.
This data stays in the app's folders on your computer. We cannot see it.
2. Data from TikTok
When you connect a TikTok account in Settings › Publish, you sign in on TikTok's own page and choose what to allow. The app then receives:
- Basic profile information (scope
user.info.basic): your open ID, display name and avatar. The app shows them in Settings so you know which account your videos will go to. - Access and refresh tokens, which let the app upload videos to your account (scope
video.upload).
This data is stored only on your computer. It is not sent to us or to any other service, not sold or shared, and not used for advertising or to train AI models.
3. Videos you post
When you choose to post a video to TikTok, the app uploads the video file from your computer directly to TikTok, where it waits in your TikTok inbox as a draft. Nothing is published until you finish the post in the TikTok app. The caption the app drafts is shown to you on the Export screen; you can edit it before you use it.
4. Other services you choose to use
Some features use services that you connect with your own account. When you use them, the text or media needed for that task goes to that service, under its own privacy policy:
- AI writing and captions: Anthropic (Claude), and optionally OpenAI (Codex). They receive the story or lesson text the task needs.
- Narration on a rented GPU: Vast.ai, if you choose cloud reading. The rented machine receives the text to be read.
- Publishing to YouTube: Google, if you connect a YouTube channel.
Your TikTok profile information and tokens are never sent to these services.
5. Keeping and deleting data
- Disconnect in Settings › Publish asks TikTok to revoke the app's access and deletes the tokens and profile information from your computer.
- You can also remove the app's access at any time in the TikTok app's settings, under app permissions.
- Deleting a project for good in the app (from its bin), or removing the app and its data folders, deletes that data from your computer.
6. This website
This website is a set of static pages hosted on Cloudflare. It uses no cookies, forms or analytics of its own. Cloudflare may process basic request data, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site.
7. Children
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
8. Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
